Appeal to look again at UKIP "donations"

"Impermissible donations" were received by the UKIP. The Party, which has a number of MEPs, admitted breaking the law. Earlier this month a district judge ruled the UKIP should pay back a only fraction of the money it obtained.

John commented: "I support the Electoral Commission's move to lodge an appeal against the ruling for UKIP. They should be held to the same rules as everyone else."

Public confidence in the integrity of the democratic process must be maintained.
